You arrive in Dehradun one day before your flying date and are briefed that evening. From the next morning you fly between the dhams — roughly thirty minutes a leg — with ground transport, priority darshan assistance and your overnight stay arranged at each halt. On the final day you fly back to Dehradun, about an hour from Badrinath.

The Char Dham helicopter package runs 5 nights and 6 days from Dehradun, covering Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath. The Do Dham Yatra by helicopter covers Kedarnath and Badrinath in 3 nights and 4 days.

This is largely who it exists for. There is no long trek: palki or pony covers the six kilometres at Yamunotri, a car covers Gangotri, and a shuttle flight replaces the sixteen-kilometre Kedarnath walk. That said, all four shrines are at high altitude and travellers should be in sound physical health. Tell us about mobility or medical conditions when you enquire and we will tell you honestly whether it will work.

Helicopter transfers from Sahastradhara heliport in Dehradun covering the shrines on your package and the return, accommodation throughout with all meals, ground transport from Jolly Grant Airport or the railway or bus station on arrival until departure, priority darshan assistance at each shrine, palki or pony at Yamunotri on the Char Dham package, the Phata to Kedarnath shuttle flight, and all applicable government taxes, aviation charges and local levies.

Himalayan helicopter operations are weather-led and some departures do lose a dham. We rework the sequence wherever it is operationally possible. Where a dham cannot be flown at all, a defined portion of the cost is refundable — the basis is written into your package sheet before you pay. We also ask you to keep one spare day at the end of your trip so that a delay does not cost you your flight home.

One bag, five kilograms per person. It is a genuine payload limit rather than a guideline — the helicopter carries six passengers within a strict weight allowance, and the manifest is built around the load and the temperature on the day. Yes. Uttarakhand Government registration is mandatory for every pilgrim and must be completed online before you arrive in Dehradun. We send you the link and talk you through it once your booking is confirmed.
