These terms apply to bookings made with Trikuta Aviation, a venture of Trikuta Travel Planners, for Char Dham, Do Dham and related helicopter yatra packages. Please read them alongside the dated package sheet issued for your specific departure, which sets out the price, inclusions and exclusions that apply to you.
Bookings and confirmation
An enquiry is not a booking. A booking is confirmed only when we have issued a written confirmation and received the payment stated in your package sheet. Seats on each flight are limited and are allocated in order of confirmed bookings.
You must provide accurate names, ages, identification documents and weight declarations for every traveller. Helicopter operations are weight-critical; incorrect declarations may result in a traveller being refused boarding, without refund.
Our role
Trikuta Aviation coordinates your yatra: the flying sequence, hotels, ground transfers, darshan arrangements and on-ground assistance. Helicopter flights are performed by licensed, DGCA-approved operators. Accommodation, road transport and other services are provided by third-party suppliers. We select these suppliers with care and coordinate them on your behalf.
Weather, delays and changes
Himalayan helicopter operations depend on weather, visibility, air traffic clearance and helipad conditions. Flights may be delayed, rescheduled, re-sequenced or cancelled at short notice. Where this happens we will rework the itinerary to complete as much of the yatra as is operationally possible.
Additional costs arising from weather holds — extra hotel nights, meals, road transfers or extended stays — are not included in the package price and are payable by you unless your package sheet states otherwise.
We may substitute hotels of a comparable category, alter the order of dhams, or adjust timings where operational circumstances require it.
Health, fitness and personal responsibility
The yatra involves high altitude, cold conditions and some walking, including at Kedarnath. You must disclose relevant medical conditions and mobility limitations at the time of booking so that we can advise you honestly and plan assistance. Travellers participate at their own risk and are strongly advised to hold appropriate medical and travel insurance, including evacuation cover.
You must comply with instructions given by the helicopter operator, crew, temple authorities and our ground staff at all times.
Baggage
Baggage on the helicopter legs is strictly limited. The allowance applying to your departure is stated in your package sheet and briefing. Excess baggage may be refused carriage. Allowance to be confirmed
Cancellation
Cancellations and refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these terms.
Liability
We are responsible for coordinating your yatra with reasonable skill and care. We are not liable for loss, delay, injury or damage caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including weather, natural events, acts of government or regulatory authorities, strikes, road closures, or the acts and omissions of independent third-party suppliers. Carriage by air is subject to the terms and liability limits of the operating airline or charter operator.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts at Jammu, Jammu & Kashmir. Jurisdiction to be confirmed
